About The Position

Botanical Designs is seeking a motivated and dependable IT Support Specialist to join our internal IT team. This role is a cornerstone of our daily operations, ensuring our team has the technology and support they need to succeed. The successful candidate will be a proactive team member in a growing organization, balancing technical troubleshooting with exceptional customer service. This position offers hands-on experience across Microsoft 365, identity management, and IT operations, with opportunities to collaborate, take ownership, and expand your technical depth over time.

  • Working knowledge of: Windows operating systems Microsoft 365 user support and administration Basic identity and access management concepts

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with or exposure to Active Directory preferred but not required
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred (Combination of education and experience may be considered for equivalency)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee IT support requests
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and access-related issues
  • Support Windows workstations, laptops, company-managed mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Perform user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, access provisioning, and device preparation
  • Assist employees with password resets and multi-factor authentication issues
  • Escalate complex or high-impact issues appropriately
  • Support Microsoft 365 users, mailboxes, groups, and licenses
  • Assist with Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint support
  • Assist with basic user and group administration for legacy on-prem systems, following established processes
  • Follow company access control and account management processes
  • Maintain and update IT documentation, procedures, and asset records
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT support processes, documentation, and standard operating procedures
  • Assist in documenting systems, workflows, and troubleshooting steps
  • Support ongoing efforts to standardize and mature internal IT operations
  • Cross training with other functional areas as needed
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
