Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 4–6 years in IT infrastructure or system administration.
  • Strong skills in Windows Server, Linux, macOS, virtualization (Hyper-V, KVM), and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).
  • Knowledge of security principles, intrusion detection, and endpoint protection.
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and automation tools.
  • A problem-solver with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred certifications: CompTIA Network+/Security+, Dell/HP server management.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking devices.
  • Manage LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks, ensuring performance, reliability, and uptime.
  • Implement robust security measures—firewalls, anti-virus, patch management—and conduct security assessments to ensure compliance with cGMP, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and test disaster recovery plans, ensure backups, and maintain business continuity procedures.
  • Act as a vendor liaison for procurement, technical support, and IT maintenance.
  • Support and guide the deployment of AI-powered tools (chatbots, CoPilot, ChatGPT) while training users on responsible AI use, ethics, and data privacy.
  • Provide application and user support to ensure smooth onboarding and productivity across the organization.
  • Stay on top of emerging technologies and integrate best practices to keep Aphena at the forefront of innovation.
