The IT Support Specialist III – Assessor’s Office performs specialized, complex IT technical support, customer service, and desktop support functions. Answers questions, identifies root causes, and resolves computer problems in person, via telephone, or electronically. Provides assistance in the use of computer hardware, software, and online applications. Identifies and implements improvements to IT support processes and procedures. Work includes various tasks involving data analysis, data entry, verification, and complex administrative business process support. Tasks focus on processes within the office’s software application and the use of Excel, SQL, SSRS, and Crystal for querying and reporting. Provides customer service and information to the public and other county departments, as needed.
