About The Position

Performance Health is seeking an IT Support Specialist III to join our new team at our distribution center in Salt Lake City. The IT Support Specialist III provides onsite and remote hardware and software support for end users within global IT and business systems at the Salt Lake City distribution center. This role includes device imaging, configuration, and ongoing technical support, requiring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to operate effectively in a business-facing environment. Proficiency with an ITSM platform, specifically ServiceNow, is essential. The position also delivers functional and technical support for business-critical applications, including order management, warehouse management, and distribution systems. Responsibilities extend to supporting third-party distribution center applications such as Box-on-Demand, robotics systems, freight portals, and label software, with an emphasis on integration troubleshooting, service delivery, and project-related technical support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in an IT help desk role
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting distribution center applications
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Onsite Distribution Center experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage incident and requests received from internal end users (ITSM system is ServiceNow)
  • Can-do, problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced, onsite environment
  • Provide support in-person as well as via phone, email, MS Teams, other remote connectivity tools
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems of low, moderate, and greater complexity
  • Thoroughly document and track all tickets and assets in systems of record and knowledge bases
  • Always maintain a high level of courteous customer service
  • Train end users and provide appropriate documentation to ensure IT hardware and software is used in the most efficient way
  • Meet or exceed assigned SLAs
  • Manage end user access utilizing Active Directory
  • Troubleshoot network and other infrastructure related items
  • Research and recommend IT related products and services
  • Manage IT related project deliverable
  • Experience with supporting / managing workplace devices, tablets, rf guns, and other on-the-job end user hardware
  • Workplace / enterprise printer maintenance and support experience
  • Ensure maximum system availability and prompt and accurate remediation of issues
  • General business process knowledge for integrated order management, warehouse, and distribution systems
  • Provides high level ERP, WM, and Distribution system application functional and technical support to customers, partners and internal resources
  • Proactively keeps operation informed of how and when problems are resolved
  • Performs other duties as assigned
