About The Position

As an IT Support Engineer at Kings River Packing, LP, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems by providing essential technical support to end-users. Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a technical support or desktop support role
  • Practical experience with troubleshooting and supporting Windows and macOS operating systems
  • Knowledge of remote desktop tools and VPNs, and IT security best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Alignment with the company’s mission and core values
  • Prolong sitting throughout the workday with daily interaction with staff
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise: Leveraging your proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues. You will also apply your understanding of basic networking concepts to address connectivity problems
  • Problem-Solving: Utilizing strong analytical skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions efficiently. Your ability to troubleshoot and address technical challenges will be crucial in maintaining smooth operations
  • Customer Service: Communicating clearly and effectively with end-users, handling stressful situations with patience, and documenting issues and resolutions accurately to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Technical Support Tools: Using remote desktop tools and ticketing systems to manage support requests and provide timely assistance
  • Security Awareness: Applying basic cybersecurity practices to safeguard against malware and ensure safe browsing
  • Installation and Maintenance: Installing and configuring operating systems, software applications, and peripherals, while performing updates and basic repairs to keep systems secure and functional
  • Team Collaboration: Working effectively within a team, utilizing collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, and supporting colleagues as needed to achieve collective goals
