About The Position

We’re seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. You’ll support small to mid-sized business environments, both remotely and on-site, handling escalated issues, and working closely with the rest of our team to deliver reliable IT solutions. This client-facing role requires not just technical ability but a service-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively with end users and peers alike.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years in IT support, with at least 1 year at an MSP
  • Comfortable with PSA, RMM, MDM, and documentation platforms (ConnectWise experience is a plus)
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows Server, and networking technologies
  • Familiarity with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V) and Apple devices
  • Strong communicator — can explain technical issues to non-technical users
  • Team player — works well with others and shares knowledge
  • Adaptable — comfortable in fast-paced, client-facing environments
  • Organized and accountable — takes ownership of tickets and sees them through to completion
  • Eager to learn — keeps up with new tools, technologies, and best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Professional IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and on-site support for Microsoft 365, Windows desktop environments, and general end-user issues
  • Troubleshoot and maintain Windows Server environments, firewalls, VPNs, and networking components (e.g., VLANs)
  • Support and maintain backup systems and disaster recovery solutions
  • Handle escalations from other technicians and resolve complex infrastructure issues
  • Use the ConnectWise suite (Manage, Automate, Control) for service delivery and documentation
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients of all technical backgrounds
  • Document work thoroughly and follow internal processes to maintain service consistency
  • Collaborate with the internal team to share knowledge and improve processes
