About The Role As an IT Support Associate II, you will use your skills to support the operations team in resolving technical problems within an Amazon Operations facility that span across a multitude of technical disciplines. A day in the life Support Technicians dedicate approximately 80% of their time to troubleshooting and repairing end-user hardware within our fulfillment centers, ensuring continuous station uptime and operational efficiency. The remaining 20% involves executing projects and managed change controls to maintain or improve our infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
  • Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
  • Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals
  • Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service

Responsibilities

  • Allocating, maintaining, and troubleshooting of IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities.
  • Handling support requests and procedures across the network.
  • Assisting in training new hires.
  • Continuous learning of new technologies.
  • Support customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
  • Lead and participate in delivery of local projects.
