Requirements

  • Associate's degree in computer technology or related field and three years related experience or training.
  • Knowledge of various technologies to support end-user technical needs.
  • Experience in operating systems, software tools, and project management methodologies.
  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft applications.
  • Working knowledge of current Windows operating systems and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office suites and troubleshooting computer hardware and software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and interpret data.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues diplomatically.

Responsibilities

  • Creates a framework for property user profile interfaces related to Company systems and networks.
  • Analyzes functional specifications for hardware, software, and computer systems to determine property and business needs.
  • Partners with property leadership to implement products, systems, and specifications from analysis outcomes.
  • Performs installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computer equipment and related systems.
  • Performs root cause analysis and develops checklists for typical problems.
  • Creates standard operating procedures and user guides.
  • Demonstrates creativity in analyzing issues and recommending solutions to complex IT scenarios.
  • Performs user administration duties including account activation and termination.
  • Installs, repairs, and maintains audio-video systems, kiosks, and other embedded systems.
  • Responds to, documents, and resolves service tickets promptly according to SLAs.
  • Resolves and tracks end user software/hardware problems and identifies technology needs.
  • Responsible for operation and programming of phone systems.
  • Assists with inventory control for all hardware/software.
  • Supports superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards.
  • Assists with the remote access process for vendor support.
  • Consults with vendors and property leadership to determine application needs and upgrades.
  • Serves as a department liaison with external vendors.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements.
