We are currently seeking a Level 1 IT Support Analyst to join our team in our Denver Office . This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing firm. This entry-level role is responsible for providing first-line technical support to end users, assisting with basic hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a passion for helping others resolve technology challenges.

  • Serving as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
  • Troubleshooting and resolving basic hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Assisting users with password resets, account access, and basic application support (e.g., Microsoft Office, email)
  • Escalating complex issues to higher-level support staff as needed
  • Documenting support requests and solutions in the IT ticketing system
  • Setting up and configuring new user accounts and devices following standard procedures
  • Providing guidance to users on IT policies and best practices
  • Supporting routine IT tasks such as software installations, updates, and equipment inventory
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions
  • Maintaining and optimizing Windows OS environments across desktops, laptops, and virtual machines
  • Monitoring and assisting with management of local area network
  • Participating in “follow-the-sun” support model to ensure coverage across global regions
  • Documenting technical solutions and contributing to the knowledge base for future team growth
  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0–2 years of experience in IT support or help desk environment
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with common IT hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow established procedures
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 11, Server 2019/2022)
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs)
  • Experience supporting service desk operations and ticketing systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
  • Experience working in a tax and accounting firm or similar professional services environment
  • Familiarity with security frameworks
  • Technical certifications such as CompTIA IT Fundamentals, A+ or ITIL
  • Familiarity with remote desktop protocols and virtualized environments
