About The Position

Barge Design Solutions is seeking an entry-level IT Support Analyst to join our Information Technology team. This position is crucial as it serves as the first point of contact for technical support within the organization. The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring that IT-related issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. The role requires a strong customer service orientation, as the analyst will interact with users via phone, email, and in-person to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical problems. The position is based at our corporate headquarters in Nashville, TN, but may also require travel to remote office locations as needed. In this role, the IT Support Analyst will assist users with hardware and software issues, including installations, configurations, system crashes, application errors, and password resets. The analyst will be expected to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users, ensuring that they understand the solutions provided. Additionally, the analyst will maintain records of user-reported incidents and service requests, prioritize and categorize incidents based on urgency, and escalate complex issues to higher-level IT teams when necessary. The analyst will also promote IT security policies and educate end-users on safe computing practices, contributing to a secure and efficient technology environment.
