About The Position

The IT Summer Help position will focus on projects that support system upgrades, user lifecycle management, and IT process improvements across the organization.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and computer hardware
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with device imaging or endpoint management tools is a plus
  • Exposure to scripting (PowerShell preferred) or automation concepts

Responsibilities

  • Perform Windows 11 in-place upgrades for 100+ devices
  • Image and deploy replacement devices when upgrades are not possible
  • Assist in auditing and scripting onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Support efforts to reduce onboarding/offboarding time and manual data entry
  • Develop and standardize IT documentation and formatting practices
  • Review and audit existing documentation for accuracy and usefulness
  • Identify obsolete documentation and present for weekly review
  • Assist with helpdesk operations and resolve low-level technical support tickets
