Division Information PACCAR's Information Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA, utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.
The Role PACCAR is searching for talented individuals to join our Internal Controls Internship Program to start June of 2026. This is a full-time position responsible for performing a variety of accounting activities and will report to the Assistant Controller – Information Governance.

Requirements

• Ability to work under pressure and multitask within a fast-paced environment
• Communicate clearly with team members, technical support groups, and management
• Deadline-driven and self-motivated
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, handling multiple tasks, and changing priorities while meeting non-negotiable deadlines
• Attention to detail with a "big picture" focus
• Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access; SAP/RPA experience a plus.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college Accounting Program or IT Program; pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree.

Nice To Haves

• SAP/RPA experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with a consultant, help develop PACCAR’s global record retention program by identifying retention requirements that PACCAR operates in.
• Collaborate with IT and PACCAR division stakeholders to track status of IT internal control activities and deliverables.
• Assist with ITGC (IT General Controls) and ITAC (IT Application Controls) testing.
• Perform testing related to PACCARs Internal Control and Compliance program.
• Assess and identify ways to potentially streamline certain processes.
• Identify, obtain and analyze appropriate information to gain an understanding of the IT or business processes under review.
• Other special projects as assigned
