About The Position

IT Strategic Operations Analyst The Opportunity: The IT Strategic Operations Analyst will be a crucial member of the Strategic Operations Group within the Chief Information Office (CIO). This role involves overseeing the organization's relationships with IT vendors, ensuring the alignment of vendor services with the strategic goals of the company, and managing various aspects of vendor contracts, procurement, and budget. Additionally, the role will focus on strategic initiatives, operational efficiency, and organizational development to support the CIO's objectives. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required. What You’ll Do:

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in IT vendor management, financial analysis, or strategic operations
  • Experience with budget management, forecasting, and project management, focusing on financial metrics and analysis
  • Experience managing vendor relationships
  • Experience in strategic financial planning and implementing operational efficiency initiatives
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Python and transforming large datasets

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key IT vendors, ensuring mutual understanding of expectations and deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and support the CIO's objectives.
  • Oversee the IT vendor budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Monitor and improve operational performance, ensuring that strategic goals are met and processes are optimized.
  • Calculate key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to support strategic decisions and provide insights on operational performance and efficiency.

  • Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
  • The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
