As an IT Staff Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in designing, developing, and launching scalable applications and AI-driven features that enhance business capabilities and operational efficiency. This senior-level position focuses on strategic projects—not routine maintenance—giving you the opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives from concept to completion.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience: 4+ years in application development or software engineering, including full lifecycle project management.
  • Full-stack development expertise (Python, C#, JavaScript, React).
  • Cloud-native engineering with Microsoft Azure (Functions, App Services, DevOps pipelines).
  • SQL Server, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • API design and integration (RESTful APIs, third-party services).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure AI Services).
  • Technical leadership and ability to mentor developers.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Agile mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.

  • Experience with AI tools, frameworks, and process automation technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-impact software features.
  • Accelerate delivery of strategic initiatives by owning special projects from concept to launch.
  • Identify and implement AI, automation, and advanced engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Own full-cycle development of new features and systems, including planning, coding, testing, and release.
  • Integrate APIs, data pipelines, and third-party services to expand platform functionality.
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and security of newly developed systems.
  • Explore emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
  • Mentor and support other engineers through architectural guidance and technical leadership.
