As an IT Staff Automation Engineer, you will enable Gong's scale and growth by owning and operating Gong's internal integration and automation practice. You will work closely with your business stakeholders to build a long-term roadmap for integration and automation development. You will report to the Head of Information Technology and be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Gong's integration platform (Workato) and our help automation technology (Moveworks) while enabling the business with direct engagement to assist your stakeholders in solving critical business problems that have a clear and demonstrable impact on the business.

Requirements

5 years progressive responsible experience in building enterprise-scale applications, integrations and solutions at scale in a cloud-centric environment that encompasses technology solutions and business objectives.
5 years of experience with enterprise integrations and custom solutions delivery.
Experience with iPaaS and ETL platforms; ex. Workato, Talend, Boomi, FiveTran, Mulesoft.
Experience helping define enterprise architecture, mapping existing systems to it, and defining how to close gaps.
Experience in leading projects through a robust SDLC & CI/CD pipeline.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Moveworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

Defines and executes on the tactical and strategic roadmap for the SaaS Integrations; accountable for portfolio projects and ensuring that service delivery is feasible, timely, cost-effective, secure, compliant, and of maximum quality.
Build the evolve the integration platform (Workato) that connects enterprise applications and data platforms. Lead integration solutions and design across the enterprise using SaaS and cloud integration technologies.
Build the evolve the help automation platform (Moveworks) that optimizes our helpdesk by using Agentic AI to solve requests in real time.
Evolve Gong's integration/engagement maturity model
Ensure integration architecture is secure, compliant, efficient and scalable.
Provide vision and strategy for ensuring scalability of systems, and processes.
Work with key stakeholders across the business, technology and engineering teams to develop roadmaps that align with business & technical objectives/priorities.
Assess our current tooling, scale and impact to identify gaps and facilitate the evaluation and selection of tools and technologies to meet the scaling needs of organization.
Develop processes and business architecture artifacts to improve business architecture, with a focus on innovation and agility.
Define, refine and maintain enterprise integration principles, standards, and guidance to support analytics, business intelligence and application development needs.
Data movement, storage, enrichment & orchestration.
Ensure accurate security controls for all data.
Where necessary, develop custom applications, utilities, and automations to provide innovative, cost-effective, and impactful solutions that drive an exemplary employee experience.
