About The Position

Linemark is looking for an entry-level IT Specialist to join our Enterprise Operations/IT team. Since opening in 1985, Linemark has built its business and strategy around leveraging technology and modern equipment to deliver industry leading results for our clients. From our 90,000-square-foot facility along the Washington, D.C.-Baltimore corridor, we have expanded from a traditional printing company to one that delivers innovative full-service digital communications solutions. This position will require you to learn department policies, office practices, and systems related to Web ­to-Print, Digital Asset Management, APIs, and other media and graphic communication solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or 1+ years related experience with AA degree
• Proficient in Mac OS, Windows, Chrome OS, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Acrobat plugins
• Knowledge and experience in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and basic Firewall knowledge
• Demonstrates professionalism, tact, and diplomacy interfacing with senior management, other high-level individuals, and external customers

Nice To Haves

• Basic XML, HTML and understanding of some programming a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the IT department
• Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction
• Assist with the installation of new hardware and software and help train employees on its use
• Manage Microsoft Active Directory users computers and GPO
• Manage Linux servers and Apache Web Servers
• Manage TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Firewall
• Assist in basic shell programming, PHP and MySQL administration
