IT Specialist Key Role: Leverage analytical, advisory, technical expertise , and analysis for the client. Perform installation, maintenance, upgrades, and security compliance of classified and unclassified IT, as well as ensuring up to 24 / 7 / 365 uninterrupted operations in support of global missions. Assist the IT Lead in the design, development, fielding, and modifications to future systems and architectures, as directed. Set up program work environments, integrate new capab ilities into existing environments, refresh hardware and sof tware, troubleshoot complex problems, and ensure continuity of Mission Planning IT in support of on-going global operations.

  • Assist the IT Lead in the design, development, fielding, and modifications to future systems and architectures, as directed

  • Ensure continuity of Mission Planning IT in support of on-going global operations
  • Experience in Mac OS X and Server administration, or iOS Mobile Device Management ( MDM ) and deployment
  • Ability to maintain Windows and UNIX operating systems, asso cia ted technologies, and interoperability
  • Ability to clearly communicate and articulate complex ideas, processes, and technical data in written, graphical, and verbal mediums to technical and non-technical audiences
  • TS / SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • DoD 8570.01-M certification, including Security+ CE, SSCP, or GSEC
  • Experience with network administration, and configuring and managing enterprise grade hardware and networks
  • Experience with USAF cybersecurity policy and written guidance
  • Experience with network and IT program management
  • Experience with Cisco and Juniper networking equipment, network monitoring and logging tools, and thin and zero client solutions
  • Experience with administering US Air Force or DoD computers
  • Possession of excellent hardware and sof tware troubleshooting skills
  • Bachelor's degree in CS
  • CCNA or VCP certification
  • Micro sof t Certified Solutions Asso cia te, Certified IT Professional, or Server Administrator certification, including 2008
