About The Position

The IT Specialist III provides advanced customer relations and technical advisory services to support the identification, evaluation, and resolution of information technology challenges. This role oversees operational IT services such as printing and telecommunications systems, analyzes performance metrics, and recommends improvements to enhance system reliability and utilization. Requirements

  • Approximately eight (8) years of experience in IT systems support, operations management, or related technical field.
  • Experience supporting printing, telecommunications, and VTC systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze system utilization and performance data.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience advising stakeholders on system optimization and performance improvements.
  • Ability to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required;OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer relationship management services related to IT challenges and concerns.
  • Identify, evaluate, and resolve complex information technology issues raised by business area customers.
  • Oversee printing services operations and performance.
  • Serve as technical advisor on system utilization to maximize multiprocessing capabilities.
  • Analyze equipment and software reliability and utilization reports for printers, video teleconferencing (VTC) equipment, and related systems.
  • Establish and monitor performance levels for computer and telecommunications systems.
  • Track bridge utilization and maintain records of conference activities and performance.
  • Monitor high-visibility conferences and identify performance issues.
  • Identify adverse trends, ineffective practices, and equipment shortcomings.
  • Recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Report to a project leader or manager.
