Requirements

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with individuals or groups and provide training as needed using our systems.
  • The ability to have a comprehensive understanding of our EDI software and ability to create integration process between Allen Distribution and our customers.
  • The ability to successfully manage/lead projects spanning across multiple departments and with a duration of up to 4 months.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure training of all mission critical functions related to your position
  • Identify support trends and challenges
  • Research and root causes and elevate to the proper personnel
  • Report to Manager, Integrations quarterly of interaction with the management of the user community to define business requirements and scope of needs.
  • When deemed beneficial by yourself or the Integrations manager, project outline will be created with the following items: Goal(s) of the project, required steps, required resources, analysis of risk and timeline
  • Priorities of projects will be determined with the Integrations Manger and review monthly or more frequently
  • Any project not on course to meet its goals, timelines or budget needs to be communicated to the Integrations Manager at time of awareness
  • Monitor performance of servers and the application
  • Elevate issues to Engineers, Manager of Integrations, or Vendors
  • Work with internal resource and/or EDI vendor to resolve connectivity and data issues.
  • Monitor transactions for acceptance or rejection and resolve errored transactions when applicable.
  • Monitor transactions for accuracy when in production.
  • Evaluate customer volumes and recommend volume customers for EDI optimization.
  • Connectivity across operations regarding data sharing between customer and defined company systems
  • Develop Integrations based on internal or external customer needs
  • Identify any systematic patterns, which may require more generalized actions.
  • Respond to all Integrations related support requests bases on areas of responsibility and priority level accordingly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues or involve the appropriate person.
  • Work with WMS and IT Support personnel to solve issues which cross specializations.
