About The Position

This position is responsible to assist in the daily operations of the IT department. Conduct day-to-day computer operations, database management, telephone system operations, hardware and software, system development: and research and analyze system problems.

Requirements

  • Able to speak, write and understand English
  • Must possess advanced computer skills in MS Exchange, Database administration or networking operations
  • Must be sensitive to and respect cultural diversity amongst clients, staff, and volunteers and able to work with diverse racial, ethnic, and economic groups
  • Flexible work schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to set appropriate limits, work under deadlines and multi-task

  • Possess strong work ethics
  • Successfully pass Law Enforcement background screening
  • Valid Florida driver’s license if driving an agency vehicle or a personal vehicle for company business
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Participate in Agency Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) program and Accreditation/Reaccreditation process

  • Effective organizational and planning skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Information systems management to include data processing, systems design, and data base administration
  • Must exhibit team building skills, and a strong customer support focus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years industry experience in the Information Technology field
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Office 365
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure network
  • Experience in solving complex computer hardware problems

Responsibilities

  • Manage technical resource by assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and data
  • Provide help-desk support as required with a customer support focused attitude. Facilitate customer support processes to include database entry, scheduling, and follow-up within customer SLAs.
  • Monitor and prioritize service requests to facilitate support and the exchange of information and advice; implement solutions and assist with providers as required
  • Assess software on a regular basis, ensure it meets necessary demands and is the current supported version
  • Responsible for the security of mission critical data (client records, financial data, employee records) and its availability to the end user
  • Perform daily functions of the IT department
  • Perform required equipment inventories, maintain database with up-to-date information.
  • Develop, generate, and compile reports
  • Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction
  • Install hardware and software then train employees on its use
  • Perform data recovery procedures when required.
  • Prepare documents, spreadsheets, and database as necessary for reporting purposes
  • Back-up databases to media and offsite secure storage on a weekly basis and store to protect information from major malfunctions, disaster, or other losses
  • Research and recommend replacement of equipment and upgrade software as needed
  • Manage the support, training and troubleshooting of office telephone systems and voicemail
  • Serve as a technical resource to departments regarding information services and hardware needs
  • Actively participate in the PQI System
  • Assist in data analysis processes
  • Complies with all applicable training requirements
  • Complies with all company safety, personnel and operational policies and procedures
  • Complies with work schedule to ensure effective operations of Agency programs
  • Contributes positively as a member of a productive and cooperative team
