About The Position
BGE, Inc. is seeking an IT Solutions Analyst to join our team in Katy, TX. As a nationwide consulting firm, we provide a range of services including civil engineering, planning, landscape architecture, construction management, surveying, and environmental services for both public and private clients. The IT Solutions Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting and developing solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and service delivery. This position requires a proactive individual who can provide first-tier support for implemented solutions and develop innovative solutions using tools such as Microsoft Power Platform and the Esri Suite. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and conducting technical training programs, ensuring that all users are equipped with the knowledge to effectively utilize the systems, products, and services available to them. You will interpret technical manuals and documentation, creating user-friendly instruction manuals for non-technical users. Your ability to demonstrate ingenuity in applying your knowledge to non-standard solutions will be essential in this position. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in coding concepts, including writing APIs and understanding SOAP and RESTful requests. A solid understanding of database concepts and structures is also necessary. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that our technology solutions align with business needs and contribute to our overall mission of delivering high-quality services to our clients.
