About The Position

As a key Solutions Architect to the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services IT team, you will design and drive the implementation of next generation IT solutions in alignment with overall IT and Business strategic direction. You will be working with a diverse team on the latest technologies to optimize our business applications and customer experience. Your tasks as Solutions Architect at Mercedes-Benz Financial Services:
• Act as a consultant for new or existing technologies, processes or solutions that contributes toward the realization of domain strategies.
• Work with IT and Business partners to gather and document business requirements and translate them to design solutions.
• Oversee and address customer issues/tickets by performing root cause analysis and eliminate repeat problems.
• Manage medium to large projects within the team and across multiple application domains.

Requirements

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application.
• This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of overall work experience.
• Business (General) - 3+ years of experience
• Information Technology - 5+ years of experience
• Bachelor's Degree is required, Master's Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and drive the implementation of next generation IT solutions in alignment with overall IT and Business strategic direction

• Oversee and address customer issues/tickets by performing root cause analysis and eliminate repeat problems. (40%)
• Act as a consultant for new or existing technologies, processes or solutions that contributes toward the realization of domain strategies.
• Manage medium to large projects within the team and across multiple application domains. (20%)
