About The Position

What success looks like in this role: The Solution Architect will perform the following activities: • Facilitate, capture detail around and conduct activities related to the IT SDER (Solution Design & Engineering Review) process including multiple iterations of, and types of, IT architectural drawings. • Facilitate and capture details around assessments e.g., Technical Risk Assessment, Vendor Risk Assessment, Intellectual Property Assessment, Privacy Impact Assessment, AI Registry or any other assessment process that may arise. • Ensure that IOPS (Industrial Operations and Product Supplies) IT CMBD activities are received, actioned, updated and communicated on a regular basis according to IOPS IT Standard Operating Procedures. • Maintain all files related to their role on the Microsoft Teams shared team repository, and not on their hard drive. • Maintain IOPS IT Solution Architecture – SA Status Board on Microsoft Teams, submit weekly status reports on work completed, update Tempus with hours spent on each task listed & participate in MDI (Managing for Daily Improvement) meetings as they are scheduled. • Assist SME’s (Subject Matter Expert) application for IPT (Policy Exception Request). • Assist TSM’s (Technical System Managers) for their designee with Single-Sign-On request process or server requests. • Facilitate corporate function SME meetings as required by the solution they are working on. • Ensure QAT (Quality Assessment of Tools) assessment is completed by Data Governance. • As well as such other IT architecture related services as may be requested by Regeneron. You will be successful in this role if you have: BA/BS degree and 10+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience Master’s degree preferred. Provide senior level technical expertise for the planning and definition of new system requirements during the evaluation, selection and implementation of lab systems related to vendor supplied software packages/instrumentation systems • Researching/evaluating, architecting and testing existing and new modern technologies • Ability to clearly document process flows and write complex build instructions • Communicate status and/or negotiate maintenance windows where necessary with system owners so work can be completed • Manage and lead projects in addition to daily tasks with minimum oversight and supervision • High-level understanding of GxP concepts and ability to apply them in a GxP environment • High-level understanding of ITIL Concepts and able to apply them in an IT environment • Champion ideas and requests, conduct necessary meetings with SME’s and drive solution design and implementations • Give direction, coach and mentor the less senior members of team • Identify areas in need of improvement and initiate actions to realize improvement with processes or technology • Partner with vendors, customers and IT to implement innovative solutions and resolve complex issues • Strong documentation skills • Information Technology/Systems-related project work This role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology. Requirements
