A Solution Architect designs comprehensive technical solutions to meet business goals, acting as the bridge between stakeholders and development teams. They analyze requirements, define system structures, select technologies, and oversee implementation to ensure security, scalability, and adherence to budget and strategic goals. Role and Scope of Position: Designs and implements architecture that will meet business needs. The solution architect’s responsibilities include gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing the current solution in place to identify areas in need of improvement, and overseeing development teams. Regularly update the company on any developments in systems architecture projects. Responsible for integrating any updated specifications and requirements into the systems architecture and explain complex problems to management in layman’s terms. Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change.
