IT Site Infrastructure Manager – Manufacturing & Technical Operations (MTO) We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented individuals to join Alcon. As the IT Site Infrastructure Manager supporting Manufacturing & Technical Operations (MTO) at the Fort Worth, Texas site, you will be responsible for the lifecycle management of infrastructure, driving continual improvements, and delivering all local IT infrastructure services for the campus including Manufacturing, and Distribution functions. Key Responsibilities Oversee the end‑to‑end integration and delivery of IT infrastructure services including data center, network, firewall, compute, server, backup, capacity, vulnerability, cybersecurity, asset, lifecycle, and print management. Maintain a stable infrastructure environment with maximum uptime supporting a highly automated, high‑volume manufacturing site operating 24x7x365. Serve as an escalation point for incidents and problems unresolved by first‑line support and participate in on‑call IT support. Collaborate with business and global IT teams to identify infrastructure requirements, analyze needs, and propose solutions aligned with enterprise IT standards and policies. Partner with the Site IT Head to support business initiatives and contribute to infrastructure planning and budgeting. Provide guidance and consultation to local business teams on infrastructure‑related topics, services, and capabilities. Coordinate multiple infrastructure and technology initiatives across site and global IT organizations. Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and corporate IT governance policies. Effectively operate within a complex matrix organization while maintaining strong customer service and stakeholder engagement. Manage escalations in a fast‑paced operational environment. Participate in audits and ensure appropriate remediation actions for findings and recommendations. Identify improvement opportunities across systems, infrastructure services, and connected technologies. Manage vendors and stakeholders while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Capture and distribute technical knowledge to enable effective support across IT teams. Guide and mentor third‑party deskside support teams responsible for campus support services. What You’ll Bring to Alcon Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (High School +13 years, Associate +9 years, MS +2 years, PhD +0 years). Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English. Minimum of 10 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience. Worksite location: Onsite. Travel requirement: Up to 5%.
