About The Position

Superior is hiring an IT Service Desk Technician to support our people, systems, and day-to-day technology needs across the organization. In this role, you’ll provide technical support for hardware, software, and end-user systems to ensure reliable operations across the business. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Requirements

  • You have a technology-related degree or equivalent hands-on experience providing technical support in an IT or service desk environment
  • You have strong troubleshooting skills with PC hardware, Windows operating systems, iPads, and iPhone
  • You have experience administering Microsoft 365
  • You have familiarity with IT support tools such as ITSM, RMM, and MDM platforms

Nice To Haves

  • You have experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, VMware, Azure, and Windows imaging technologies
  • You have industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+
  • You have experience supporting remote workers at distributed jobsites

Responsibilities

  • Resolve reported problems related to hardware, operating systems, applications, security and software updates, materials handling systems, and configuration issues
  • Update and track IT assets and inventory
  • Provision and deprovision equipment, accounts, software, and security access
  • Utilize technical knowledge and understanding of end-user and infrastructure systems to support projects and participate on technical project teams
  • Support the installation of new endpoint and infrastructure systems and upgrades
  • Participate in IT projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Create or modify procedures to solve problems, including those with unclear or evolving policies or processes
  • Interface with all levels of IT management in a professional, business-focused manner
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive corporate data
