About The Position

Delaware North is hiring an IT Service Desk Intern to join our team at our global headquarters in Buffalo, New York. The Service Desk Intern will play a vital role in providing technical support and assistance to end-users while gaining hands-on experience in IT service management. This internship offers exposure to troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT requests through ServiceNow, and supporting enterprise IT operations. Interns will develop key technical and customer service skills while working alongside experienced IT professionals in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Pursuing a Degree: Bachelor's or Master's candidate
  • Area of Study(s): Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields
  • Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and remote support tools (e.g., ConnectWise) is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
  • Document and track IT service requests in the ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Support onboarding processes, including account setup, software installation, and device configuration.
  • Perform basic maintenance and updates on workstations, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, security compliance checks, and process documentation.
  • Provide walk-up and remote support to employees, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
