About The Position

Huntington Bank is seeking a visionary and execution-focused Technology Director in the Data Management Services organization to lead technical innovation in our data testing activities. Huntington continues to scale and modernize requiring more sophisticated methods for protecting data assets. This role oversees creation of processes, technology solutions, and controls necessary to administer test data for PI Customer related information. Establishing procedures and technical solutions in the Data Mastering Services organization that would expand across Enterprise Technology. This role will help define the strategic roadmap for test data generation and be accountable for delivering high-impact, compliant, and scalable test data solutions. This role requires close collaboration with the Chief Data and Architecture Office, Data Scientist organization, as well as, technology peers in driving organizational change. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in PI and test data management balanced with software development enablement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field.
• 10+ years of related experience leading master data management in software development.
• 3+ years in organizational change management driving adoption of test data solutions across the enterprise.

Nice To Haves

• Proven experience leading PII test data compliance in a regulated industry, preferably banking or financial services
• Strong technical background with hands-on knowledge of DB2, Snowflake, and Data Lake architectures
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to build and manage a high-performing team, work with partners to set and meet business service level agreement levels, plan and deliver work to expectations
• Experience implementing test driven development in master data management organizations
• Excellent relationship building skills and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical partners, across all levels of the organization
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical ability
• A history of leading engaged organizations focused on colleague development and success

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a team of data experts responsible for test data management.
• RFI, RFP, business case development for appropriate technology solutions.
• Establish and grow relationships with key stakeholders to foster organizational change.
• Collaborate with Chief Data Architecture Office in support of data governance, stewardship, and metadata teams to drive appropriate controls balanced with software development utilization of test data..
• Communicate progress, risks, and strategic direction to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
