About The Position

The Cybersecurity Intern will support the organization’s security program through hands-on work across vulnerability management, risk management, security operations, asset management, and threat intelligence. Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong interest in cybersecurity and emerging threats.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with IT systems or security tools a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in onboarding, security policy review, and tool access setup.
  • Learn cybersecurity fundamentals including CVEs, CVSS, and threat intelligence.
  • Support vulnerability management tasks with Qualys, CrowdStrike, and Armis.
  • Assist with asset inventory validation and CMDB cleanup.
  • Contribute to updating policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Perform basic log reviews (Entra ID, Okta, Splunk) and shadow investigations.
  • Support KPI dashboard updates and reporting automation.
  • Conduct CVE research and threat monitoring.
  • Complete a capstone project and deliver final presentation.
