We leverage AWS security services, automation, and security frameworks to proactively defend against cyber threats. As an IT Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring, administering, and improving eXp’s security posture. You will be responsible for analyzing security events, managing alerts, supporting security projects, and assisting in security awareness training. This role works closely with the IT Security Manager and other Security Analysts. This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate cyber threats in a dynamic, cloud-driven environment.

Requirements

2+ years of hands-on experience in IT security or a related technical role.
General understanding Security Operations, Audit, and IT Governance, Risk, & Compliance controls and best practices based within the United States.
In-depth understanding of end point security configurations and managing knowhow.
Strong understanding of Google Workspace security settings, including email filtering.
General knowledge of security industry frameworks. (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS,)
Capable of assisting with or performing IT Security audit analysis and reporting.
Prior experience working within a SOC, NOC or a customer support team monitoring and assisting users with support issues.

Nice To Haves

Has a thorough understanding and hands on experience overseeing a SOC team
Knowledge of security standards such as: DLP, EDR, RBAC, SOC.
Has acquired a security industry certification. (CompTIA, Security+, TCM or AWS security, or other)

Responsibilities

Event management: Monitor and resolve security events coming from multiple security technologies.
Automate manual security process and streamline the risk reporting capabilities.
Conduct the security assessments of impossible travel alerts, phishing issues, and security event tickets.
Security Oversight: Champion the security awareness campaign and annual security policy reviews.
Assist in the annual SOC assessment reviews.
Maintain updates to the users’ requests.
Security Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain technical documentation for security technologies, processes and system configurations.
Produce regular security metrics reports, updates to security dashboards, and reviews of technology investigations, and assessments.
Collaboration and Training: Participate in application specific training to facilitate a better understanding of the technologies currently supported by eXp.
Establish and maintain a clear line of communication between other contractors and the eXp Realty IT Security Staff.
Know and stay current on all eXp Realty IT Security policies.
