About The Position

Under direct supervision, responsible for performing all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and protection of systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Responsibilities Identifies potential security threats and responds to reported security violations. Determines causes of security violations and recommends corrective actions to ensure data security. Implements changes to procedures and systems to enhance data systems security. Assists in communicating security procedures to end-users. Provides management with status reports. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Technical knowledge of information security platforms, tools, practices, and policies in a multi-vendor environment
Knowledge of platform security and access management design, maintenance and testing
Strong background in protocol and traffic analysis, penetration testing, social engineering, security risk assessments, incident event handling and access control
Skilled in vulnerability and threat management
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Bachelor's Degree degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or IT is required
One (1) year of IT security-related experience is preferred

Nice To Haves

CompTIA Security+ Certification is preferred
