We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Application Quality Assurance Manager to lead our support and quality assurance teams in ensuring the highest standards of software quality as we transform our Quoting Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, a keen eye for detail, and excellent leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA methodologies, hands-on experience with CPQO (Configure, Price, Quote, Order) applications, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes—particularly in the window and door industry.

  • Lead our Quoting Application Support team and ensure delivery of exceptional Customer Service while effectively addressing requests within published SLA's for both internal and external application users.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and processes for application testing.
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA Analysts, providing guidance and support in testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to define testing requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution and verification of fixes.
  • Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve application quality and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in quality assurance and software testing.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team and across the organization.
  • Prepare and present quality assurance reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements through test cases and defect tracking.
  • Provide leadership in root cause analysis and corrective action for software defects.
  • Manage test environments and ensure proper test data management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 plus years of QA management experience in Manufacturing environment required.
  • Experience with windows and doors, is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience with CPQO (Configure, Price, Quote, Order) applications.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies (particularly Scrum) and experience with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and experience in specifying and validating business reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other relevant business tools.
  • Ability to travel to manufacturing facilities or corporate office as needed, estimated 15%.
  • Paradigm experience is a plus.
