About the role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT-Quality Assurance Intern to join our IT-QA team. This position provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with experienced IT professionals while gaining hands-on experience with QA testing practices. The intern will actively support process improvements, enhance documentation practices, and assist with DevOps and Azure-related tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for technology and quality, a strong analytical mindset, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop key skills in software testing and contribute to the overall success of the QA team. To apply you must meet these guidelines/requirements: This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work three days per week at the Support Center in Legacy West, Plano, TX. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. Housing, relocation, and transportation assistance are not provided. Availability is required from June 1 through August 7, 2026, with a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Prior work experience, coursework or internship experience in data analytics, machine learning, or business intelligence is preferred.
  • Experience working with large datasets in a retail, e-commerce, or supply chain environment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
  • Familiarity with Databricks and Microsoft Fabric for data processing and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI for dashboard development and data visualization.
  • Understanding of Azure cloud platform and data engineering concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Expertly gathers and examines relevant information to work toward solution.
  • Skillful with time management; focusing on right priority to achieve what needs to be done.
  • Skillfully shares knowledge and builds skills within the team to ensure they are successful.
  • Ability to work with multiple departments and various levels of management.

Responsibilities

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong academic record and a passion for technology and data analytics.
  • Basic understanding of IT Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
