About The Position

Boston Scientific Information Technology is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented IT Project Speciailist III to support strategic initiatives within the IT Acquisition & Integration (A&I) portfolio. In this role, you will lead business systems integration projects from inception through completion, partnering closely with program/project managers, IT and business functions, and acquired business teams. This is a high-visibility opportunity that provides direct exposure to Boston Scientific’s commercialization strategies, employee integration initiatives, and product development lifecycle. As a core member of the IT A&I team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality project execution while supporting the growth of newly acquired businesses. This position reports to the Senior Manager, IT Acquisition & Integration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, computer science, data science, finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience coordinating or leading small to mid-sized projects or programs
  • Proven ability to partner with IT, vendors, and/or business stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Lead small to mid-sized business systems integration projects across all phases—from initiation through implementation
  • Develop detailed project plans and estimates outlining workstreams, resources, milestones, and deliverables
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams including IT functional experts, business stakeholders, and vendor partners
  • Track progress toward key objectives, identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain accountability across the team
  • Deliver regular updates to stakeholders through reports and meetings to ensure transparency and alignment
  • Manage multiple overlapping projects of varying durations, escalating risks as needed and sourcing expertise when gaps arise
  • Develop and present strategic recommendations for technology solutions, implementation plans, and total cost of ownership
  • Oversee project implementation, ensuring infrastructure, processes, training, and organizational readiness are addressed
  • Track project performance, schedule adherence, and budget while aligning to business objectives
  • Provide internal consulting support by sharing project management best practices
  • Apply tactical execution skills focused on hitting milestones, meeting release timelines, and achieving specific short-to-medium term goals
