The IT Project Manager leads end‑to‑end execution of approved IT projects, coordinating technical and business stakeholders to deliver predictably and on plan. The role translates approved business and technical objectives into actionable delivery plans, actively managing scope, schedule, risks, and dependencies to meet timeline, budget, and quality expectations. The IT Project Manager does not own portfolio prioritization, intake/funding governance, long‑term capacity planning, solution design, or operational ownership; the role executes approved, resourced work within established governance. This role is intentionally designed to emphasize delivery excellence within a maturing IT operating model, ensuring accountability is appropriately aligned to role level and organizational readiness. Growth & Development Opportunity As the PMO and IT organization mature delivery practices, this role offers growth through exposure to evolving governance, tools, and standards. The IT Project Manager is expected to apply strong execution discipline, share delivery‑level feedback, and continuously build skills while operating within defined role boundaries. SCOPE OF TYPICAL IT PROJECTS: Projects may include delivery of approved initiatives such as application or data platform modernization, infrastructure upgrades, cybersecurity controls/tooling, vendor deployments, regulated change initiatives, and enterprise rollouts. These examples illustrate delivery efforts supported by this role and do not change ownership for prioritization, design, or operations.
