About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated hands-on IT Project Manager to take an in-flight technology programme through its final delivery phase and into operations. Plans are in place — what’s needed now is focus, discipline, and execution to get the remaining work delivered cleanly and on schedule. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work with minimal input (though direction will be provided) engage confidently with senior stakeholders and roll up their sleeves to create and manage deliverables as needed. This position is a full-time on-site role in The Woodlands Texas and will be a 3-to-6-month engagement, most likely 6 months.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing and delivering IT projects through to completion.
  • Strong consulting or client-facing background — comfortable structuring information, influencing decisions, and driving accountability.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with hands-on capability in Excel, PowerPoint, and other project management tools.
  • Pragmatic and proactive — identifies what needs to be done and gets it done with minimal handholding.
  • Excellent communicator — able to convey progress and challenges succinctly at all levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in MSP environments, divestments, or transition projects desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide significant input to an active IT programme, ensuring all remaining milestones are completed on time.
  • Drive progress across multiple workstreams, resolving blockers and maintaining delivery discipline.
  • Engage directly with C-level stakeholders to report status, risks, and mitigation actions with clarity and confidence.
  • Produce and maintain project deliverables — updated plans, RAID logs, MI dashboards, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external service providers to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage transition and closure activities, including documentation, handover into on-going operations.
  • Maintain a relentless focus on outcomes — keeping the team aligned, accountable, and moving forward.
