About The Position

IT Technician Assistant, IT Solutions, Information Services The IT Technician Assistant reports to the V.P. of IT and is tasked with providing technical support to departments across the organization. This position is located at our office in Caledonia, WI. This is a part-time position (20 hours/week) and is a limited-term position for a duration of 3 months, with an opportunity to extend to 6 months. What you will do here: Understanding network environments (servers, workstations, printers, networking equipment, wireless, wired) Troubleshooting with computer configurations (Windows/Apple) Work in Microsoft Office365, SharePoint, Teams and Application environment Assist the Technology department with all new hire/existing employee IT needs Resolving routine to moderately complex administrative and support issues Ensuring user satisfaction by providing preventative maintenance Work closely with internal team members and subject matter experts (consultants) Provide support to internal members and training as needed Support IT Services team with miscellaneous projects, as needed

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or related studies a plus. Degree in a related field may substitute. Candidates in the process of completing or near completion of the degree requirement, with one additional year of the specified experience, may be considered. Equivalent work experience may satisfy the degree requirement.
  • 1-2 years of experience, industry preferred
  • Working knowledge of Office365 and SharePoint applications
