Job Summary: The IT Project Manager is tasked with managing multiple IT projects of varying size, focus and technology, utilizing the agile scrum methodology to deliver software on time and within budget while managing strategic initiative projects utilizing teams of software engineering and infrastructure personnel.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Project Management or related major or equivalent industry experience in a similar role
PMP certification and active certification is required.
3+ years’ experience in IT working with project management methodologies managing strategic software development initiatives.
Proven track record of success in planning, prioritizing, estimating, and delivering projects and work efforts on time, within budget and with appropriate scope.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong ability to think strategically.
Willing to learn new tools and technologies to be able to work effectively in a rapid growth environment with changing needs and requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to technology participants
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time
Must be able to communicate clearly
Ability to operate computer and office equipment, maintain paper files, move about an office environment
Must be able to move objects up to 20 pounds
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with the agile software development process and Azure DevOps is a plus.
Previous experience working in the commercial lending industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, managing all aspects of the strategic initiative.
Utilize project management tools (i.e. work plan, issues log, meeting minutes) as appropriate for the size and type of project and per Kinetic’s project management methodology.
Track and remove blockers and impediments that hamper project team efforts to move forward.
Manage deployments and implementations (particularly for large project rollouts where there are many tasks to accomplish in a short period of time) to keep cutover tasks on timeline for a smooth software delivery, meeting commitments.
Communicate project statuses, issues, and solution approaches to all levels of management.
Facilitate Business Analysts’ work with business users to review, analyze and evaluate business systems and users’ needs to ensure all business requirements have been met, documenting findings and communicating appropriately
Review and ensure completeness of all project deliverables
Communicate software/business knowledge and project deliverables to other members of IT.
Participate in and support all software development lifecycle activities, including development, testing, implementation, and rollout.
Participate in an agile team, collaborating with Business Analysts, Developers and Testers.
