About The Position

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking an IT Project Manager to support the Commission in a primarily remote capacity, with on-site attendance at the Commission’s headquarters required for meetings as needed. This position is open to candidates located within the Continental United States and offers the opportunity to manage diverse IT initiatives in a structured PMO environment. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating multiple IT projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring successful delivery across the full project lifecycle while adhering to established project management standards and methodologies.

Requirements

• Five (5) or more years of experience managing IT projects of varying size and subject matter.
• Demonstrated experience across core project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, cost, communication, vendor, and risk management.
• Experience managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Ability to successfully pass required background checks prior to engagement start.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience using ServiceNow, including Idea, Project, and Demand modules.
• Experience managing Enterprise Business Solutions projects, including SAP implementations or integrations.
• Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM practices and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the activities of internal and external staff across multiple IT projects of varying complexity.
• Lead projects through the full lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans and required project artifacts using PTC or other established project management standards, procedures, templates, and methodologies.
• Coordinate with business owners, analysts, and stakeholders to define, document, and refine project scope.
• Monitor and manage project scope, schedule, cost, risks, vendors, and communications.
• Facilitate lessons learned sessions during and after project completion to identify improvements and best practices.
• Build and maintain productive working relationships with technology teams, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.
• Ensure compliance with the PTC PMO Playbook and all referenced governance artifacts.
