At First Horizon, a Senior Project Management position specific to the PMO’s Core Portfolio is responsible for partnering with LOB/Operations/ET, journey, agile, and steering partners in understanding strategic opportunities for efficiency and new offerings, as well as managing resulting initiatives through Discovery & Analysis and Implementation phases of the Project Management Lifecycle. Project Management resources comply to a standard of excellence in facilitation skills, senior level planning, budgeting & organizational skills, and proven execution techniques. This position will require knowledge and mastery of the below banking functional areas, Deposits Commercial and Consumer Loans Items Processing General Ledger Compliance Shared Services The position requires mastery of business and operations processes as related to core banking channels with a deep understanding of a functional area’s framework and correlation between: Process Applications Data The Project Manager is responsible for managing a project team of resources that matrix to the effort from various areas within the company. Although direct administrative supervisory responsibilities are not part of this role, the ability to motivate and manage a group of resources assigned to a given project or work effort is inclusive of responsibilities.
