About The Position

Trissential is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to bring on an experienced IT Project Manager to drive a large-scale Network & Telecom Device Segmentation initiative. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you’ll lead complex, cross-functional IT and security efforts that directly support enterprise Zero Trust and least-privilege strategies. The role offers the opportunity to own a mission-critical security program with enterprise visibility, work at scale collaborating across various teams (Information Security, Network Engineering, Telecom, MSS, HTM, and external vendors), and deliver high-impact results directly supporting governance, compliance, and operational readiness in a regulated healthcare environment. It provides professional credibility by strengthening one's portfolio with complex infrastructure and cybersecurity project leadership.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of IT project management experience delivering infrastructure, network, or cybersecurity initiatives
  • Proven experience managing medium to high-complexity projects with budgets up to $1M
  • Strong understanding of network segmentation concepts and enterprise networking dependencies (no hands-on configuration required)
  • Experience leading cross-functional, matrixed teams in regulated or enterprise environments
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining documentation, traceability, and delivery discipline
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills
  • Demonstrated use of PMI Process Groups and Knowledge Areas
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years of IT project management experience OR Master’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of IT project management experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting cybersecurity or Zero Trust initiatives
  • Exposure to healthcare IT environments
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • Experience working directly with engineers to validate real-world operational constraints
  • Familiarity with governance-driven delivery models

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the integrated project plan across all segmentation phases: pre-enforcement, enforcement, validation, re-enforcement, and operational transition
  • Lead scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, and delivery across multiple technical and operational teams
  • Coordinate execution across Information Security, Network Engineering, MSS, Telecom, HTM, and third-party vendors
  • Facilitate project intake, kickoff meetings, working sessions, and recurring status and leadership updates
  • Track and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies such as vendor constraints, hardware limitations, and device readiness
  • Ensure alignment with approved charters, enterprise standards, and governance bodies (including segmentation and SGT governance)
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including milestones, metrics, decision logs, and completion criteria
  • Support transition to steady-state operations with clear ownership, change management processes, and operational handoff
  • Communicate complex technical execution clearly to leadership and non-technical stakeholders
