About The Position

The Head of PMO role ensures that all projects align with the company’s standards, adhere to best practices, and are completed with the requested quality, on time and within budget. The Head of PMO will lead a team of Local PMO, drive continuous improvement in project management processes and standards, and ensures the successful implementation of the organization's project portfolio. This role will also be in charge to follow up the local NA PMO activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a PMO.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master’s degree or relevant certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and enforce project governance standards and methodologies.
  • Keep Portfolio Management tools updates at all time (VCP, dashboards…) and prepare the portfolio reviews for every Group functions including the North America.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive project portfolio management framework.
  • Oversee local IT budget & manage local contracts
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all projects within the organization.
  • Monitor project performance, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budget, and quality standards (participation to project steer co is a must / update of the project dashbaord).
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues promptly.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of local PMO.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence within the PMO.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes, tools, and templates.
  • Implement best practices and industry standards to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
  • Drive innovation and the adoption of new technologies within the PMO.
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards, providing transparent and accurate reporting on project status and performance metrics.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies.
