About The Position

The IT Product Management Senior Manager is responsible for providing people leadership and strategic direction to a portfolio of enterprise technology products that support critical, multi-year transformational initiatives. This role owns the end-to-end product lifecycle for complex, high-priority digital and technology products, stewarding significant enterprise investments and driving measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in Product Management, Technology Delivery, Program Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in direct people leadership, managing managers and/or senior professionals.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, and/or commensurate experience.

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner, or similar (Preferred)
Project Management Professional (PMP) (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Stewards critical enterprise technology investments and drives the delivery of transformational outcomes by providing product leadership and direction across assigned product domains.
Owns and evolves product vision, strategy, and roadmap in partnership with business and technology stakeholders, ensuring alignment to enterprise strategy, customer needs, and long-term value realization.
Provides active leadership across the product lifecycle including discovery, prioritization, delivery, launch, and ongoing optimization. Oversees backlog management, roadmap trade-offs, value measurement, risk mitigation, and dependency management.
Works closely with stakeholders to translate business strategy into product initiatives, features, and outcomes. Ensures product teams are positioned to deliver against defined objectives by providing guidance related to scope, sequencing, investment, and benefits.
Facilitates discussions with senior-level business and technology leaders on product strategy, roadmap progress, risks, issues, and outcomes. Provides data-driven insights and recommendations as appropriate.
Ensures Design Governance and Architecture partners are engaged at appropriate points to evaluate solution options, assess impacts, and maintain alignment with enterprise standards, platforms, and roadmaps.
Provides direction and oversight to Product Management and Product Owner resources, ensuring consistent product management practices, clear accountability, and effective delivery across teams.
Manages integration points and dependencies across products, platforms, and initiatives, including coordination with program, platform, and delivery leaders to ensure cohesive execution.
Manages relationships, communications, and expectations with executive sponsors, governance forums, and key decision-makers. Ensures appropriate engagement and timely decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.
Develops and delivers communication materials that span multiple products or initiatives, clearly articulating product vision, progress, outcomes, and change impacts across the organization.
Defines and enforces standard product management processes and practices, ensuring adherence to enterprise delivery models, agile principles, architectural standards, and governance requirements. Conducts quality reviews and continuous improvement activities.
Provides leadership over product resource planning and capacity management by prioritizing work and aligning internal and external resources to product and portfolio needs.
Owns accountability for talent management, team health, and performance, including hiring and selection, performance and compensation management, succession planning, coaching, and employee development. Actively removes barriers and fosters a high-performing, inclusive product organization.
