Day (United States of America) IT Procurement Administrator The IT Procurement Administrator administers the sourcing and purchasing of IT hardware and software within the organization. Oversees daily activities associated with IT procurement, including requests for proposals, cost and price analysis, procurement audits, and other contract administration activities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer related field or equivalent combination of certification and experience is required.
  • Demonstrated ability of creative problem solving, and the ability to research issues thoroughly and following basic troubleshooting standards.
  • Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication, technical documentation, organizational abilities, analytical abilities, interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to execute assigned tasks and production support activities within the established timeline, and in the presence of obstacles.

Responsibilities

  • Aids with the identification of requirements and development of requests for proposals.
  • Coordinates all codification of IT invoices, and prepares invoice reconciliation with various in-house reports.
  • Coordinates and follows up on status with Legal Department and IT teams on review of IT contracts/agreements.
  • Maintains IT contracts/agreement through to signing of contracts.
  • Prepares and maintains filing of IT Administration.
  • Performs cost and price analysis.
  • Maintains service contracts database.
  • Analyzes competitive IT market, evaluates proposals, and participates in negotiations for final, contractual IT agreements.
  • Monitors supplier performance and contract measures.
  • Assists with the coordination of procurement audits.
  • Identifies opportunities to reduce overall costs and improve supplier performance.
  • Tracks and reports monthly procurement expenditures.
  • Administers organization's software licensing, including new product and maintenance renewals.
  • Maintains procurement documentation.
  • Ensures compliance with the organization's policies and procedures consistent with contract terms and applicable regulations.
  • May coordinate PC/peripheral repair services.
