About The Position

ACT1 is seeking an IT Portfolio Senior Analyst in Arlington, Virginia to support a Department of Defense customer. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing data to provide high-quality mission and decision-making support on budgetary, financial, and civilian pay issues. You will also focus on continuously improving the quality, efficiency, and focus of the customer’s financial services and operations. A typical day will include ensuring compliance with financial management and accounting requirements, providing quality assurance functions, and assisting in various reporting tasks related to DoD IT investments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Ten (10) years of IT Technical and Program Management experience.
• Five (5) years of experience in DoD capital investment planning, strategic planning, technical analysis, and compliance activities.
• Experience with DTRA (Defense Threat Reduction Agency) is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products and Visio.
• Demonstrated experience presenting to and engaging with Senior Civilians.
• TOP SECRET Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Agency compliance with financial management and accounting requirements and reform initiatives.
• Provide quality assurance functions by reviewing completed work for accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of DoD Information Technology Investment Portal reporting and other related systems.
