The Role: Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking an IT Portfolio and Project Management Co-Op/Intern to join our team for the Fall 2026 Co-Op season. This assignment is intended to be 6 Months in duration, beginning in June through December. The Co-Op opportunity at Entegris within the Portfolio & Project Management team is unique and exciting for anyone wishing to become a skilled project manager. The Portfolio and Project Management intern will focus on supporting key areas within our Portfolio and Project Management Office (PMO).

Requirements

  • A driven and results orientated candidate that has a desire to obtain or improve their expertise in the field of project management within Information Technology.
  • The candidate must have a desire to learn new things and be able to communicate effectively with our project management team.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business information systems (IS), computer science. project management or related field, graduating in Spring 2026 or later.
  • Must be a currently enrolled student
  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May/June through August/September.
  • Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program

Responsibilities

  • Create, review and refine existing PMO processes and documentation to be used in training and project methodology execution
  • Enhance our current PPM tools by partnering with PMO staff to assist in requirement documentation and project execution
  • Test and implement changes within our core PPM tools
  • Aid in the identification of key gaps and pain points in the existing PPM toolkit, in partnership with PMO staff
  • Support PPM Projects and initiatives
  • Assist Project Managers in resource planning by using the Resource Capacity Planning tools built on the Power Platform, PowerBI and Smartsheet
  • Attend Portfolio and Project Management team meetings and assist in the supporting activities of these functions
