About The Position

The IT Policy Specialist/Office Administrator will serve in a dual role (approximately 50/50 split): IT Policy Specialist: Develop cybersecurity policy Conduct legislative analysis Draft executive-level materials Provide policy guidance Office Admin: Manage office supplies, oversee asset inventory Support onboarding/offboarding Coordinate meetings Provide administrative support. The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements. Gunnison's total compensation package also includes bonus and profit-sharing opportunities, depending on company and employee performance. Requirements

  • US citizenship or Green Card required.
  • 10 years working on executive-level briefing materials.
  • 10 years working with highly technical information (e.g., policy, legislation, standards, etc.) required, with at least 5 years specifically in cybersecurity-related information (i.e., governance, risk, and compliance).
  • Sound foundation in grammar, punctuation, and use of the English language, with emphasis on producing clear, direct prose.
  • 3 years of experience managing office materials.
  • 3 years working in an office environment with technical IT personnel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
