At E2, we value safety, innovation and collaboration, and we are dedicated to excellence. Overview Portfolio Analyst will work for one of our highly regarded utility clients in Southern California. In this position, you will support the client Delivery Manager in the successful completion of projects and provide recommendations to leadership based on financial data analysis in a portfolio. You will work in a dynamic technological environment to implement cutting edge solutions that empower our society, while craftily using their interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and initiative to achieve project and enterprise goals. You will be required to work on-site 2 days a week in the Los Angeles Office. As a Portfolio Analyst , your work will be directly involved with executing programs that help power the client’s planet, reduce carbon emissions, and create cleaner air for everyone.

Requirements

  • Attest 5 years in PMO support and implementation as PMO Analyst
  • Strong Experience on Project governance and compliance.
  • Strong Experience on Portfolio and program management support
  • Strong knowledge and be a part of PMO process development and optimization
  • Proficient on implementing Key Metrics and KPIS
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill
  • Strong knowledge RAID log (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions) management
  • Must be an owner rather than a renter (TAKE OWNERSHIP)
  • Live in the Los Angeles, CA area due to hybrid schedule of 2 days a week in office.

Nice To Haves

  • Utility Industry Experience is a big plus
  • Data analytical skills is a plus
  • Knowledge of Cyber standard experience is a plus
  • Use previous PMO analyst as reference.

Responsibilities

  • Aid the completion of project deliverables.
  • Coordinate team members and key stakeholders
  • Conduct monthly review and analysis of assigned projects to determine if there are any budgetary risks.
  • Play a significant role within the organization as the key reporting point-of-contact for all projects financials.
  • Analyze project data to produce standard and ad-hoc reports.
  • Develop financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
  • Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
  • Conduct project/portfolio performance reporting including financial analysis (project forecasting, project actuals reconciliation, budget variance analysis)
  • Prepare project status communications.
  • Perform risk / issue tracking and mitigation.
  • Maintain key project health data in the IT project management tool.
  • Build and maintain portfolio dashboards to aid leadership in making informed decisions.
