About The Position

The IT Operations Intern will support the IT Department by assisting in the day-to-day operations of the IT Operations Department. This individual should be motivated to learn more about Service Desk & Support IT Functions. The internship provides a great introduction to the company and culture while giving the individual an opportunity to add real value to the team while learning the day-to-day skills required in an IT role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Customer Support Experience
  • Knowledge of IT Ticketing Systems

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in: CompTIA A+ or ITIL are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to staff and customers on hardware and software-related issues
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, and software
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues
  • Follow established procedures and processes for computer maintenance
  • Provide training and support to team members on the use of computer systems and software
  • Research and recommend solutions for technical problems
  • Work across IT Teams to assist in Compliance, Security, Infrastructure, and Applications tasks.
