Position Summary As an IT Operations Intern, you will work to ensure our department maintains 100% visibility into our digital and physical infrastructure. You won’t just be learning technical troubleshooting; you will be learning the business of IT. How to manage assets, reduce financial shrinkage, and maintain 99%+ network uptime across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Systems Management Support the manager in maintaining a "100% workload view." You will audit work orders, ensure parts and time are accurately logged, and help run weekly reports on critical tickets and asset downtime.
• Asset & Inventory Control: Assist in driving inventory shrinkage by performing cycle counts of IT hardware and processing Purchase Orders (POs).
• Deployment & Implementation: Help deploy new hardware (iPads, Stripe readers) using our Mobile Device Management (MDM) software and assist in buildouts for site security.
• Vendor & Quality Coordination: Join vendor meetings to learn how we source pricing and conduct RFPs (Request for Proposals). You will help track "car wash variance" and equipment performance to reduce damage claims.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in "5 Whys" root-cause analysis sessions to help the team solve recurring technical issues rather than just patching them.
